Yep, consistency and commitment!

ImBack

Do you know that one of my favourite ‘sayings’ or ‘mottos’ is ‘Consistency and commitment’.  I’m a big believer that anyone can do anything and become good at it with consistency and commitment.  I believe that talent is great, but consistency and commitment is better – in sport, in business, whatever….and the real key to success is not luck, it’s not talent, it’s not opportunity, it’s focus on your goals and then consistency and commitment of action to get there.

Now, in saying that….clearly I haven’t got the whole consistency and commitment thing happening yet with this blog!  But you don’t have to get it right first time, so I’m back for another shot!

Now just in case you were wondering what happened since my last post – where I had just commenced week 1 day 1 of the 12 week body transformation – well, I stuck at it for around 8 or 9 weeks and lost 7.5kg!

Anyway, here we are and planning to get cracking.  In fact,  as my two year old daughter says ‘I got a idea!’.  I want to make some new habits and so have decided to use this blog me!  Here’s the plan.  I am going to undertake a series of 28 day challenges – why 28 days?   Well, the old ‘myth’ goes that it takes 21 days to make a habit – well, apparently that’s not exactly true (see this article to read more about that), so I’ve chosen 28 days as my arbitrary number that is challenging, yet achievable and may hopefully result in some long term behaviour changes.

I have made a list of challenges that I’d like to undertake and will cross them off and add more as I go!
